Overcast Sunday

We have had a mixed bag of weather this weekend. Yesterday was gorgeous with comfortable temps and sunny weather. Today, we woke up to gray skies and chillier temps. We were so inspired yesterday, that we took a load out to the hazardous waste dump out by the airport. Since we've been in this house, we've had four (count 'em -- FOUR!!) TV's go out on us. There is definitely something wrong with the electricity in this house. We are SO looking forward to getting out of here when our lease is up in June. Anyway, we took the four non-working TVs to the hazardous waste facility. Our first load in our new truck! We scratched up the bed, and everything! Bill tells me that makes it a manly truck . . . whatever!!!! LOL

Anyway, today we were going to take a trip to the dump and take a bunch of junk we have in the garage, but so far we haven't gotten motivated. It's nearly 11:00 a.m. and we just finished breakfast and cleaned up. Bill's cleaning out the fridge and freezer and I just made our grocery list. We need to do a Costco run, also, in addition to groceries. Plus we have to go by Wal-Mart and pick up our bikes that we bought!! We got ultra-motivated and bought bicycles. We took a walk through Bidwell Park on Friday after we went out to dinner, and we saw people riding bikes, and thought that would be a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the park at the same time. Or Bill thinks it would be fun and I am going along . . . My butt hurts just thinking about bike riding. But we picked out some nice Schwinns and we bought the extra-comfy cruiser-style seats, and Bill will put them on. My bike is a really pretty teal color. Cool!! I'll post pictures if they ever get them put together.

On Friday, I moved into my new office at work, and officially start my new position on Monday! I am looking forward to the challenge. We'll see how it goes.
