We bought a new truck!

Well, we'd been talking about getting a pickup truck, and had been looking on and off for several weeks. We thought about used and we thought about new, and finally with the incentives that Ford is offering, finally decided that new was the best way to go. We got excellent financing at 3.9% for 60 months, and this way we're not inheriting someone else's problems, and won't be paying on a used vehicle way past its expiration date!

We settled on a no-frills 2007 Ford Ranger. It has very few extras -- no carpeting, has vinyl seats, no automatic locks or keyless entry. It even has crank windows!! Haven't had those in a long while. It has a 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. I have to learn how to drive a stick all over again!! It does have the two important extras though -- air conditioning and a radio!! Its a nice looking truck and will be just perfect for what we need it for -- a second vehicle and some light hauling.
