And just for yucks and grins -- we went by and visited the house I grew up in in Fair Oaks on our way home. We stayed the night last night at the Marriott in Rancho Cordova, so my old house was just a hop, skip and jump from there. We moved in 1974 to Placerville, where I graduated from high school in 1976.
