A New Car!!

Over the 4th of July, we decided on the spur of the moment to go look at Toyota Avalons at Yuba City Toyota. We had unsuccessfully tried to purchase one at Chuck Patterson's here in Chico (they wouldn't make the deal we wanted) and my boss had told me that he'd been shopping at Yuba City Toyota for years and how well they had treated him. Well, Yuba City had the car we wanted in the color we wanted with the options we wanted. They gave us what we wanted on our trade in and gave us the deal we wanted -- so we bought it!! This is the nicest car we've ever owned, and we plan to keep this one for a long time. It has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car, so there isn't much we'd be wanting on another car unless they decide to invent cars that fly!!

Here's some pictures. Its funny because in the pictures, the outside doesn't look a while lot different than our Honda, but in real life it is a lot different. The gray color is different and it is bigger than the Honda, and the lines are more like a Lexus. The inside is gloriously luxurious and totally different from the Honda. It has navigation system, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, auto dimming mirrors, voice command controls, heated and cooled front seats, and a wonderful JBL stereo with 12 speakers, and whole lot more. I had talked about putting a new stereo in the Honda, and after we bought the Avalon, Bill goes, "There, Honey, I bought a new stereo for you" LOL
